In Venezuela I made many of these skirts, I liked them because the waste is minimal and the result is always different.
But every time I wanted to make one, had to do the calculation from scratch, trying to decipher the hieroglyphs in my notebook, a torture.
Until finally it occurred to me to create a formula, I didn’t think I would share it but once I finished it I couldn’t help it.
In general, it is a spreadsheet (Excel) in which you only have to imput your measurements, the size of the fabric and the number of pleats, and it will automatically give you all the numbers you need to draw the skirt.
